A Semester in India

Hello,

Once again, I will be traveling half-way across the world to one, if not the most diverse country in the world: India.  Along with my group from Fresno Pacific, we will be embarking on a new adventure to learn about the unique culture that resides within India. Today, our five day orientation starts as we get a taste of what to expect before we take off on Thursday, August 28. After spending a little bit more than a month within the Holy Land (Israel), I was pretty adamant that Israel contained in its small borders the most religion I would ever see in my lifetime. However, India is about to prove me wrong. Sikhs, Hindus, Christians, Muslims, and Buddhists, all live together in some sort of harmony. It will be fascinating to see how all these unique cultures/religions/ethnic groups live in stability after studying the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict that is fueled by all these differences. Buckle up for the ride and stay tuned.

Namaste.
